and so it begins... here with you

Just a few days ago I found myself looking at a zaadz page.  I had been musing about my visions and missions and what was to be the next step, the next sign or window for clarifying intent with action.   I was thinking about either the need to create or find a community where the visions could begin to flow and find their path back to the ocean from which they have arisen.  There was an instant recognition that I have arrived here for just that purpose.   And so it begins…

I bow down to you all in gratitude for your wisdom, your innocence, your divinity, your love & compassion, your passion, your service, your awareness,  your willingness to give and learn, your readiness to take each next step in creation of *OUR* world.  The world we want to manifest for ourselves and our children and our childrens children to live and love and play in.

Happy Winter Solstice

Posted on Dec 21st, 2006 by skyojos : Sky Eyes of Dawn skyojos

I'm feeling whimsical today and  I'm smudging you into the circle this morning in honor of our nearly completed journey around the sun and wishing you all the blessings of the universe for our next circumnavigation of this star.   What will you do each new day this year to bring spirit and magic into the world around you and nourish the seeds of sustainabilty for us and for our children?

Join me in the fire cirlce tonight?  Come to play & praise in celebration and bring your instruments and your imagination.   Adorn yourself.  Create the future of your wildest dreams.

Check out your astro on this fun site.  I love this astrologer

Here's mine:

   Leo (July 23-August 22)
Happy Holy Daze, Leo! In 2007, I predict that you'll experience a metaphorical version of something that's rare in nature: a gentle birth. There'll be a big new addition to your life, in other words, and its arrival won't hurt a bit--may even feel downright ecstatic. Here's some more mysterious good news: In the coming months, you will have the power to learn from the moon, converse with the dead, and remember your ancient origins. And get this: The adventures that amuse you most could involve foam rubber, distant bells, smoke rising from manholes, plums from Damascus, and exotic trophies. One more thing, Leo: In 2007, brand new bedtime stories will be mandatory.
Verticle Oracle card

SACRED ADVERTISEMENT
At a concert in California, devotional singer Krishna Das told a story of escorting his revered teachers, a frail old Indian couple, to an acupuncturist in New York. They had to walk through a neighborhood dominated by strip clubs, prostitutes, and drug dealers. Every few feet, a new salesperson approached with an offer of crack, weed, crank, or sexual adventures.

Krishna Das worried about subjecting his beloved guides to such a degrading experience, but they were unfazed. "This is heaven," said the woman. When a surprised Krishna Das asked what she meant, she replied, "Heaven is any place where one's needs can be met."

In loving memory of Tulsi:
It is in the nature of consciousness to survive its vehicles. It is like fire. It burns up the fuel, but not itself. Just like a fire can outlast a mountain of fuel, so does consciousness survive innumerable bodies.
